Wow wtf!? Some of the stuff that Paul Pearsall PhD mentioned and firmly believed i.e. death being only of the body and us all being shards of a super consciousness has been something that i felt was and is reality.
I think deep down it’s something we have come to know in our subconscious, but have no evidence as such because for something to be tested and scientifically proven then it has to be plausible/material/practicable…

This is excellent. Define consciousness? It is the narrow awareness of the higher self, focused on the here and now. The soul or spirit is both the greater (subconscious) awareness and an extention of the higher self, and that higher reality is where all is one. Science is the study of an infinately complex illusion, it is the spiritual realm that is real. So, essentially, we have all created this universe for the purpose of physical interaction. Think on that paradox for awhile lol.
